STRESS, ANXIETY, & BURNOUT

Somehow, we got so used to being stressed out, we forgot it’s an option to not.

Here’s the short version:

yes, you can feel better.

You can sleep at night (without pills).

You can find a balance between your job or business, your family, and your own sanity and happiness.

You can find relief.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based approach that was developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn. I use MBSR, along with Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (particularly for Insomnia) to help patients experiencing chronic, toxic stress get out of the knots they’re stuck in.

Full disclosure: Both MBSR and CBT require that you put in some effort. There is homework. There are things for you to follow through on throughout the week. But the almost magical result is: you will feel better.

If you’d like to remember what it feels like to relax, to be able to actually experience what’s happening right now instead of always worrying about what you did yesterday, or what you need to do tomorrow, I’d love to hear from you.
